Egrets are plentiful here in Florida. I see them everyday. This was done in a different format11x14" w/c paper, but taping off 8x10" for the subject. There are still many awesome paintings on the

This is absolutely gorgeous, BJ! I love that the foreground plant steps out of the borders to add a gorgeous depth. I think this is my new favorite BJ painting!

I'm shocked that this turned out as well as it did.. My nerves were raw... Maybe painting something so tranquil as this helped me..
I love the composition of this painting, the bird really steps out of the frame! Sorry about the water leak, hope it is repaired now.
