'Eye of the Horse ~ aka~ Kellys Eye ~Pencil~

This piece was finished this morning.   Well today I have art hanging in the library for December (forgot about that), the Christmas Exhibit thisThursday.

P.S.   This is my rendition of the photo of Kelly .. unknowingly she had just passed away.  Her owners saw the drawing on another site, and sadly told me what happened... Coincidence or mystical,  I don't know, but Kelly and I have a bond.. Just the way it  feels .
p.s. I'd like to add that this drawing has won a ribbon at the Art Show in Plant City, and yes Kelly we did good! .

  1. This is a gorgeous study BJ and I'm in awe at the detail you've achieved. My word though, you are a busy lady ... 4 things on the go all at once ... I don't know how you cope. ;-)

  10. I wanted to comment on this lovely, poignant piece and say how very expressive it was, before I even read your post about the dear animal passing away. I am sure that you do have a bond with Kelly, even now. Merry Christmas!
