Beautiful watercolor Barbra. I also was touched deeply by the story you shared of the horse, "Kelly". I think horses are thee most amazing animals and one of the most beautiful in form and grace. How timely was your amazing drawing. It confirmed for me too that we often see more with our hearts than our eyes. That's why i like the title of your blog so. It is the heart things that matter the most and can add an unspoken and often unexplained dimension to a work of art. Your rendering of Kelly is just such a work. How special indeed.
I'm an artist painting my way through this journey called life.. Watercolor and pencil are my main mediums and I'm honored to have won awards for my work in both.
The destination is not so important as the daily trek in trying to get there.
