Beautiful watercolor Barbra. I also was touched deeply by the story you shared of the horse, "Kelly". I think horses are thee most amazing animals and one of the most beautiful in form and grace. How timely was your amazing drawing. It confirmed for me too that we often see more with our hearts than our eyes. That's why i like the title of your blog so. It is the heart things that matter the most and can add an unspoken and often unexplained dimension to a work of art. Your rendering of Kelly is just such a work. How special indeed.
I'm an artist. Watercolor and pencil are my main medium and I'm honored to have won awards for my work in both. I have always had other creative outlets and those can be seen on this and my other blog. Thanks for visiting and leaving comments. They are so welcome.
Barbra Joan...I LOVE YOUR WEBSITE!!! And that sunflower is especially emotive and appealing. I thoroughly enjoyed studying each painting, and also delighted in the passion and attention to detail. Your work truly represents an accurate depiction of your inner beauty. From: Dr. JoNette LaGamba, USF professor and art critic
