Mrs. Robinson Again.
I've painted this robin several times from photos that a friend in England sent me.. This robin is almost like a pet..
I'm trying to learn how to 'pour' paint, so that's how the branch was done, but it's losing something in the translation... the poured paint is supposed to be a part of all of it ... I'm just not getting it. !

you have got the Robin for sure and the flowers are pretty!
ReplyDeleteBJ, so very beautiful, and uplifting.
ReplyDeleteDear BJ - It certainly looks like you are getting it to me. This is so lovely. I am a sucker for birds anyway...so this immediately caught my eye when I spotted it on my sidebar. Bet you are getting excited about your workshop. I know you will really enjoy yourself. Take care and have a great day - Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, BJ. I think it looks amazing! The poured branch looks realistic and the bird and its colors are just stunning on this branch. A beautiful end result indeed!
ReplyDeleteThank you all.... I can't help it... I like to paint 'pretty'.

So cute little Robin. You seem full of motivation to paint. That is good. Enjoy your workshop.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cora, yes motivation came from I don't know where. !
DeleteHi there, I found you after you visited my blog. That technique of "Pouring" yes, well, I don't get it either. I have a couple of books on that, but I think it needs to be started on a large piece of paper. Yours looks great......mine turned into a mud puddle.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.........Janice
Love the Robin, poured paint is something I have not yet got the hang of but I guess the more you do the easier it will be
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling little bird. Your painting is wonderful. Poured painting is on my list to try.
