 Posting what I managed to do today. My water jar, my Winsor Newton white ceramic that holds some of my brushes.. that I've had for ages  and hope I never drop it.
The flowers were from memory, nondescript but the idea came from a long time ago of something I'd seen. Painted, framed and hung in my studio.  BJ

  11. Hi BJ, I remember those Winsor and Newton jars but I have the new ones which aren't as cool. I love this composition, the colours of the brushes reall offset the simplicity of the flowers.

    Alas I still have the word verification on my blog, I can't work out how to get rid of it.

  12. This is really a sensitive watercolor Barbra! I know the Jar cause I have one too, and you made it very real! Love the soft colors! Flowers are wonderful, I am so bad with flowers!
