This was one of my very first watercolor attempts, a waterlily done in 1987. (check the date ).. Well, I haven't gotten very far.! ! but have had a wonderful journey and intend to keep travelling . . BJ
BJ both paintings are so lovely but the top is my favorite - it has such vibrancy. Your art is always the best and you paint flowers the way I love them. Have a good day my friend.
Well, my dear, I think the changes are fabulous! I admit that I do love that artsy watercolory background on your 1987 version but oh look at the advances in your shapes! The school of hard knocks teaches all of us in 25 years, you included. Don't sell my strong friend BJ short.
HI BJ, Yes You've grown. So very very much!! The top is my favorite. Love the colors and the waterlily is much looser in the drawing. You do beautiful work. Love to you,Diana hugs!
Not come far? What are you on? You've come a long way and there is a sense of 'accomplishment' in your current works that just isn't found in everyone's paintings. Keep enjoying the journey. ;)
Hello Barbra Joan:) I think there is a hugh difference between them. But I must say I do like the background of you 1987 painting very much!!! But the yesterday painting is so nice. I love it. And you have had a wonderful journey and that is the most important, don't you think? Big hug:)
I'm an artist painting my way through this journey called life.. Watercolor and pencil are my main mediums and I'm honored to have won awards for my work in both.
The destination is not so important as the daily trek in trying to get there.
