My Watercolor Rendition
Nothing can match the beauty of the real leaf as when I took the photo below, but we all know I had to try.. I framed it and it can hang for a while. . My apologies to the 'Last Leaf of Autumn' .
You surely don't need to apologize. It is lovely, especially now that it is framed.

this is beautiful Barbra Joan, I like the way you did the tree bark behind it too. the blues going into a slight green and do you see the hearts.. the little one of the shadow of the underside right in the middle and the shadow itself is a heart.. lovely, Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Barbra Joan: what a lovely leaf portrait--you captured the crispness of a dry leaf ... and I love the wood floor!
ReplyDeleteSomeone else had pointed out about the heart shapes in the original photo that I took ,, and yes isn't that amazing?
ReplyDeleteI really loved the way you came up with this one Barbra.. this is looking lovely!

ReplyDeleteAfter reading your words I'm so glad that I made the effort to paint this. Thank you for your encouragement. You know watercolor is a struggle for me , but no matter where else I roam (other mediums) I keep returning to it.
