This is 'Bob' . I did the painting of him for someone as a commission from my Etsy shop . His coloring was so white/cream not your usual orange or marmalade cat. Bob passed on some years ago, but as all of us animal lovers know we never forget them.
Hello folks, I'm John, the lucky owner of Barbra's wonderful portrait of Bob. The photo doesn't do the painting justice. Barbra exactly captured Bob's enchanting eyes and his "Hi there" demeanor..
I took the painting to show a friend today. He swore that it was a print of an oil painting and wouldn't believe it was a water color until I took it out of the plastic wrap and let him look closely. I am honored to have received such a wonderful piece of art.
If you want to know more about Bob, who was my friend, my companion and my soulmate, you can go here.

He's been gone 7 years now and I still miss him every day. John
John, It was my pleasure to paint 'Bob'. I will hope that you get joy out of seeing him in the painting. When we connect with an animal it is a very special thing. I know you have lost him, but your heart will carry his memory. That's all we have.
I'm an artist painting my way through this journey called life.. Watercolor and pencil are my main mediums and I'm honored to have won awards for my work in both.
The destination is not so important as the daily trek in trying to get there.
