Getting There!

You want a drawing?? ok here it is lol !!!
This is my big attempt , I'm doing good after only 2 weeks today.
Learning to walk like a normal person after a year of compensating for the other leg surgery, I'll get there ...
It takes a while, I do remember that. ! There were a few complications this time that I didn't have last year on the other hip.

I want to thank every one of you .... you've written, emailed, posted on my blog... I was overwhelmed by the nice things you said.
Fear not.... I'll be doing that 'Happy Dance' before long..  BJ

  1. Dear BJ,
So happy you are on the mend and the worst is over. Now, when you are ready, please continue with you wonderful work. Love the socks and again you are an inspiration to me, you may get knocked down, but you did get back up; I call that True Grit. Have a great day.

  3. YAy! You're okay, and you're back at your art! That's so touching that your first inspiration for a drawing was of your feet down there. That is where all your attention has been focused lately, of course. I hope the recover goes well and you have lots of time to make beautiful art!

  17. Barbra Joan, this is a most welcome and wonderful painting. Very clever use of what's at hand (or at foot?) I am thrilled that you have the surgery behind you and are on the mend. I knowthat soon you will be working in your garden, walking, and doing all the physical things you enjoy. Hugs!

  18. You must be so glad that the surgery part is behind you. Hope the mending part won't be long or painful and that you'll be mobile again in not too long a time. Cute painting of your legs and feet :)

  20. Pretty fancy socks you have. So glad things are getting better. I have been fighting vertigo for the last week. One eve in the emergency room as it was so bad. Have no idea why this is happening but I am fighting it.
