Day #18

A very quick sketch as I'm still in the 30 paintings in 30 days.
Done with indigo w/c .

  1. I love this. The fact that you were trying to get something painted in a hurry might have contributed to the tonality and the way that you drew only the most essential lines and shadings... but that's very effective with this piece! It's simple, pure, flowing lines all perfectly placed, and it resonates with emotion and tells a story!

  2. BJ - this may have been quick but it is wonderful. A close up view and simple palette makes this just outstanding. I love it!!

  3. Good work! You've captured the moment really well. The whiskers add a kit of charm.

    1. Thanks Keith, this was one of those that had to be done quickly and was the best I could do under the circumstances.
