Breakfast For One

You know how that slump hits you everyonce in a while ?
Well when that happens to me I find that making small watercolors keeps my hand in the paint so to speak.. This is a recipe card size for making oatmeal . I've made others for Lemonade, Chicken Salad etc. , and other simple recipes. No , I'm not a good cook, if I cook at all ...
 I make toast . !!!

  3. Now these are fabulous, my dear Barbra Joan! What a splendid and valuable collection they would make too. They would all be framed and up on the wall in my kitchen! I love the way you think; I tend to go in slumps where nothing comes to mind.

  4. And I burn toast, lol! My husband is a good cook, whereas I'm not. I find cooking to be a bore! But I love the idea of making recipe cards! What a wonderful idea! :0)

  11. BJ as always I am amazed at your talent - you have inspired me to dress up some of my recipe cards - I have been sorting recipes for several months and tossing (it is time for me to make only toast -lol and start painting) xo xo Debbie

  14. Hi BJ, sorry for being so neglectful lately. This is such a wonderfully quirky idea. I have always wanted to have a go at making lemonade, not sure about oatmeal though. :)
