Pencil / Graphite

Yesterday my mind was going from one thing to another, watercolor? flower?, landscape?., accomplishing nothing, I wound up posting a small watercolor that I did eons ago and don't even like that much. So what did I do? I did what always makes me feel better, thank you very much. And thats to draw. Last night picked up my Staedtler Drawing Pencils, smooth Bristol paper, trusty kneaded eraser and away I go.!

  2. I love experiemcing your art. I have many of the same emotions when I pursue my photography. Last night I shot about 330 pictures and wound up saving about 30. The more I shoot, the easier it is to be self-critical. Thought you might like offering your take on the mystery photograph I've posted.

  3. Barbara, you are so accomplished with pencil. Never apologize for perfection! I'm back from vacation and catching up on my blog friends. I like your Pacific Coast painting -- I know that area well having travelled it for many years, sometimes by bicycle where I could see every cliff, hill, and wild flower. You did a great job of capturing this thrilling landscape.
